In book club for this month, we are reading Icecore: A Carl Hobbes Thriller by Matt Whyman.
Here is a description of the book:
Carl is a seventeen-year-old British computer hacker who penetrated the security systems at Fort Knox for a laugh, but the American government was less than amused. Since his prank, gold bars have been landing in the hands of terrorists across the globe.
Now he finds himself in a military prison deep in the Arctic and far off the grid. He is caged alongside the world's most notorious terrorists with no one to trust and no end in sight.
Carl Hobbes may not be a criminal mastermind, but if he wants to escape this subzero prison with his life, he'll have to start thinking like one.
Still not sure if you want to read the book? Check out the first chapter here.
We have October 26th set as the date of the next meeting, all other information regarding the place and time of book club will come soon so please check back for more information. Remember all ladies are welcome to come and join in the festivities so invite friends!
